Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 10 years’ experience in accounting
CPA or MBA a plus
Experience with ERP systems (Acumatica or NetSuite is a plus)
Experience with payroll processing, taxes and managing month end close processes
Proven success in effectively leading teams
Strong analytical skills, communication and professional business acumen
Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables
Experience with budgets and forecasts
Strong analytical skills and advanced knowledge of US GAAP
Experience with ERP systems and managing month-end close and financial planning processes

Responsibilities

Oversee all sub-ledger functions such as Sales Order, Inventory, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Banking, General Ledger
Provide strong leadership and guidance to direct reports, supporting professional development and alignment with organizational goals
Approve weekly payroll
Work with third party accounting firms for income tax reporting
Approve journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements in a timely manner, consistent with metrics
Oversee company fixed asset ledger for all physical locations
Strengthen internal controls and ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures
Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration among all teams
Manage annual physical and asset inventory audits
Plan, organize and coordinate year-end financial audit requests
Oversight of weekly KPI reports for Senior Management
