Requirements

Candidates should possess proven experience managing CLM systems and scaling contract operations within high-growth companies, demonstrating expertise across the contract lifecycle, particularly with Ironclad. Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills are required, alongside the ability to balance meticulous attention to detail with a pragmatic, results-driven approach. Experience supporting legal operations or contract management at a security-focused company or in a compliance-heavy industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Contracts Manager will take ownership and optimization of Chainguard’s CLM system (Ironclad), driving seamless contract workflows from intake through signature and beyond, collaborating closely with Legal, Sales, Finance, and other business partners to accelerate deal cycles while upholding compliance and risk standards. They will lead reporting and analytics on contract status, cycle times, and key legal metrics, supporting impactful legal team initiatives, assisting with NDA reviews, and spearheading cross-functional projects that enhance contract management. Additionally, the Contracts Manager will take on a wide range of legal operational tasks and be a champion for process improvement and legal enablement within the organization.
