Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in contract management. Membership in the World Commerce and Contracting or National Contract Management Association, or a relevant professional certification, is considered a plus. Required skills include demonstrated capability in conducting and supervising investigations, drafting confidential reports, advising senior leadership on risks, in-depth knowledge of local ethical/conduct/compliance risks, employee rights, obligations, and related laws, extensive experience in employee relations and workplace investigations, and the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with client executives. A basic understanding of commercial contracting regulations, principles, subcontracting practices, and terms and conditions is also necessary.
The Contract Associate Manager will lead and support contract management teams across projects and accounts, collaborating with account leadership and client stakeholders to understand and support client needs and priorities. They will provide input into performance management activities for contract management staff, and support the identification, escalation, and resolution of commercial and contract risks and issues. Responsibilities also include engaging in pre-award sales activities, discussing potential deal shaping and contractual outcomes with sales teams and business leadership, and providing contract drafting support. The role involves building trusted relationships with client counterparts as part of a client-facing function.
