We support our clients (Mobility Organizing Authorities, transport operators, infrastructure managers...) from the emergence to the implementation of their projects. To meet these challenges, Talan, an international consulting firm (7200 employees, 20 countries, Great Place to Work), is looking for Managers to lead high-impact transformation projects and structure our sector development. Transports & Mobilités is a dynamic team of 50 talents with diverse and complementary profiles, working in a stimulating, friendly environment that respects work-life balance.


Position Overview

You will be a central player in our collective dynamic, with strong client exposure and active contribution to offer structuring. Your mission will be organized around the following dimensions:

Client Relationship Management & Development

  • Engage with key sector players (AOM, operators, infrastructure managers).
  • Identify new needs and propose adapted solutions with high added value.
  • Actively contribute to the commercial development of the division (identifying business opportunities, responding to tenders).

Project Management & Implementation

  • Lead complex projects: organizational redesign, digitalization, change management...
  • Manage project teams (operational monitoring, planning, workload, budget).
  • Ensure the quality of deliverables, adherence to deadlines, and mission profitability.

Leadership & Talent Development

  • Mentor and develop consultants of various levels.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and personal development.
  • Participate in recruitment activities.

Capitalization & Team Development

  • Develop sector assets, economic outlook notes, strategic intelligence tools.
  • Lead internal initiatives (offers, CSR, training, innovation).
  • Represent the division at external events or with institutions.

Types of Missions

  • Transformation of organizations (service organization, process redesign and digitalization, tool redesign, cultural transformation...).
  • Development of IT and digital transformation roadmaps for transport stakeholders.
  • Conducting positioning studies and benchmarks to guide executive decisions.
  • Leading transformation programs.
  • Supporting the emergence of innovations (Data, AI, Cybersecurity...) in the transport sector (shared mobility, energy transition).

Qualifications

Candidate Profile

  • An academic background of excellence (top business or engineering school, MBA...).
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in consulting or within a transport/mobility sector organization.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated expertise in project management, process modeling, change management, information systems, and/or a culture of innovation and new technologies (AI, data, etc.).
  • In-depth knowledge of the sector (public transport, rail, intermodality, regulation...).
  • Strong client focus with a drive to collectively win high-value missions.
  • Natural leadership and ability to rally teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
