Requirements

Candidates should possess a university degree in computer science, data science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or have equivalent experience. A minimum of 10 years of experience in customer-facing technical roles (pre-sales or post-sales) and 10 years of people management experience, including mentoring and developing teams, is required. The role also demands 5 years of experience in selling or positioning professional services, including scoping projects and developing proposals. Expertise in traditional Machine Learning, Data Science, and Generative AI (Deep Learning, LLM, RAG, Agentic AI) with open-source frameworks is essential, along with demonstrable experience leading full-lifecycle AI/ML projects. Proficiency in Python (including AI/ML libraries) and SQL, as well as strong presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences, is necessary. Familiarity with the complete data analytics stack, large-scale database technologies, and common data integration/AI/ML tools is expected. Ability to travel up to 25% is also required.

Responsibilities

The Consulting Manager will manage and mentor a team of AI/ML Solutions Architects and Consultants, ensuring high-quality project delivery and fostering continuous learning. Responsibilities include acting as a thought leader in AI/ML advancements, assessing team contributions, and serving as the first point of escalation for delivery concerns. The role involves recruiting and preparing new team members, collaborating with sales teams to close opportunities, and facilitating knowledge sharing across teams. Additionally, the manager will influence Go-To-Market strategies, lead improvement initiatives, and maintain a 70% utilization target by owning strategic projects and acting in billable oversight roles.
