Knowledge of M&A transaction processes (from due-diligence to integration) and operational restructuring (from IBR to turnaround)
Capability to analyze historical and future operational performance, identify risks and value creation opportunities
Skills in financial modeling of operational impacts (e.g., potential gains/savings, implementation costs and timing)
Responsibilities
Conduct Operational Buy-side & Vendor Due Diligence: Analyze target company’s historical and future operational performance for acquirers or sellers to identify risks and value creation opportunities, supporting business plan feasibility
Support Post-Merger Integration (PMI) & Separation: Accompany clients through operational challenges in M&A or separations, including synergy identification, integration/separation strategy, target operating model definition, Day-1 readiness, action plans by function, and synergy/cost tracking
Develop and implement Value Creation Plans: Post-transaction, define performance improvement plans to secure value creation, assess operational levers, anticipate financial impacts, prioritize initiatives, and align with strategic business plans
Perform Operational Restructuring: In underperforming or crisis situations, define and implement performance improvement plans to restore results, evaluate options, model operational lever costs/gains, and translate into business plans
Collaborate with Deloitte’s financial experts (e.g., financial due diligence, valuation, financial restructuring) on multidisciplinary missions for French and international clients
