Candidates should possess 10+ years of Commercial Litigation Claims experience, with preference for General Liability, Ag/Farm, or Toxic Tort experience. They must have a strong understanding of insurance contracts, medical terminology, and legal aspects, and be willing to obtain relevant claims certification training. A Bachelor’s degree or post-graduate studies is preferred.
As a Commercial Casualty Claims Consultant, the individual will handle serious and complex litigated and non-litigated commercial bodily injury and GLPD claims, providing technical assistance and consultation to leadership and associates. They will conduct on-site field investigations, attend mediations and trials, provide advice and training, conduct reserve analysis, maintain current knowledge of insurance lines and legal developments, mentor claim associates, create reports, participate in project teams, assist underwriting, and deliver positive customer service. They may also perform other responsibilities as assigned and travel as needed.
