Candidates must possess a Certified Quality Manager (CQM) certification and have at least 5 years of experience in quality management, including a minimum of 3 years in military or Department of Defense construction projects. In-depth knowledge of military construction regulations and standards is required, along with a strong understanding of quality control principles and construction methodologies. Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as proficiency in quality management systems and documentation.
The Construction Quality Manager will lead the development and implementation of the project’s Quality Management Plan, ensuring compliance with military standards. They will conduct regular quality audits and inspections, coordinate with project managers and subcontractors, and ensure all documentation is maintained. The manager will monitor and resolve quality issues, provide leadership and training to the quality control team, and act as the primary contact for quality assurance matters. Additionally, they will ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on construction sites and maintain relationships with military officials and project stakeholders.
