Requirements

Candidates must have experience in construction project management, with a strong understanding of work plan development and progress tracking. Experience with facility types such as central offices, service/work centers, and garages is required, along with familiarity with mission-critical environments and significant mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) installations. Proficiency in systems like IQGeo and BMSe, along with experience coordinating engineers, architects, and contractors, is essential. Candidates should also possess strong analytical and reporting skills, and be willing to travel as required and be available on-call.

Responsibilities

The Construction Manager will oversee real estate and network construction programs for Brightspeed's facility portfolio, managing projects from analysis to closeout within budget and schedule. Responsibilities include developing project scopes and specifications, coordinating internal and external resources, analyzing project progress, and reporting risks and outcomes to management. They will also ensure data accuracy in systems like BMSe and IQGeo, manage contractor onboarding and issues, and assure adherence to design and construction standards.
