Requirements

Experienced IT Functional Lead with expertise in Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
Strong background in Warehouse and Distribution operations
Deep understanding of TMS functionality
Extensive knowledge of warehouse processes, inventory management, and distribution systems

Responsibilities

Lead the functional design, configuration, and optimization of the Transportation Management System (TMS), ensuring integration with other supply chain systems
Collaborate with stakeholders in logistics, transportation, warehouse, and distribution teams to gather requirements and map business processes to TMS configurations and workflows
Oversee the integration of TMS with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Distribution systems for data consistency, visibility, and streamlined logistics
Continuously optimize TMS functionality and workflows, including route planning, carrier selection, freight auditing, and shipment tracking, to improve efficiency and reduce costs
Leverage experience in warehouse and distribution operations to ensure seamless integration between TMS and WMS, supporting inventory management, order fulfillment, and warehouse operations
Apply knowledge of distribution strategies to improve goods flow, optimize inventory levels, and enhance order fulfillment speed and accuracy through system integration and automation
Ensure TMS integrates with WMS for real-time tracking and accurate inventory management across distribution centers and warehouses
Act as the main point of contact for business units (logistics, warehouse, distribution) to support operations with TMS and related systems
Work closely with operations, supply chain, and logistics teams to design, develop, and deploy technology solutions supporting transportation and warehouse/distribution objectives
Manage relationships with TMS, WMS, and 3P vendors
