As a Principal Product Designer, you will lead high-level project work from a design perspective with autonomy and authority, conducting design workshops to help teams provide the best possible solutions. You will leverage your expertise in user experience and understanding of design systems, UI design, and how micro-interactions can help users accomplish a task. You will transform nebulous concepts into precise ideas that constitute practical and enjoyable product features. You will design global systems, flows, and interfaces that are simple, elegant, and user-friendly, drawing conclusions from research and data to translate them into concrete solutions. You will establish relationships with users and advocate for their interests during collaboration with cross-functional teams responsible for products, engineering, and marketing, and supervise the user experience from design to launch. You will also be a positive role model, promote the culture within the studio, and defend design within Lightspeed.
