The position is on-site at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO.
Required skills include operations and maintenance of large-scale computer and communications systems/networking environments, system and/or network administration (UNIX Linux Windows Cisco Juniper), and troubleshooting hardware and software components. Candidates need 2 years’ experience, a Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline (or equivalent), and DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher.
The role involves working as part of a team in a 24x7 operations and test environment, reporting to the C2BMC Watch Officer, with rotating 24/7 shifts including nights and weekends as determined by mission requirements.
Strong candidates will have an active SECRET clearance, the required education or experience equivalent, DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification, 2 years of relevant experience, and the ability to work rotating 24/7 shifts.
