Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or a similar role, preferably within the commodities or financial services sector
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a proven ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms, including intranet management, graphic design, Microsoft Office, AI, and content creation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines
  • A global mindset with an understanding of cultural sensitivities in communication
  • Hybrid: 2 days/week in the office
  • Must be willing to work in US shift

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement internal communication strategies that support the goals of S&P Global Commodity Insights and enhance engagement around core objectives
  • Create, write, and edit compelling internal content, including memos, newsletters, intranet articles, and presentations that inform and inspire employees
  • Engage with global communications team to reinforce best practices and cascade enterprise initiatives
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and leadership to craft clear and effective messaging that communicates key initiatives and priorities within the organization
  • Manage internal engagement events, including town halls, roundtables, and workshops, ensuring effective communication and participant engagement
  • Utilize digital communication tools and platforms to enhance internal communication efforts with measurable impact
  • Monitor feedback, engagement, and other metrics to assess the effectiveness of internal communications and drive success
  • Provide guidance and support to senior leadership in preparing for internal events and crafting key messages for various audiences
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in internal communications to continuously improve strategies and approaches
