Requirements

Previous experience installing commercial roofing systems: single ply and metal roofing
Experience working in the construction trade or industry, familiar with power tools and equipment
Must be able to climb ladders, scaffolds, and stairs, and lift heavy material
Very comfortable working from heights and outdoors year-round
Has reliable transportation to travel from site to site (valid driver's license and/or reliable means of transportation)
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S
Can pass a UA/drug test (and potentially a criminal background check)

Responsibilities

Work with all members of the crew to install single ply roofing, standing seam metal roofs, and/or other waterproofing applications
Install membrane, layers of insulation, pipe boots, and other roofing components
Use various hand and power tools such as heat welders, nail gun, saws, metal shears, etc
Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, equipment
Learn and follow extensive safety policy at all times
Set up fall restraint equipment and wear PPE
Work at various jobsites in the surrounding area
Assist in the shop or in other departments as needed
