Requirements

Candidates must possess a P&C license in California, a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least 5 years of industry experience. Proficiency in Epic and surplus/excess lines experience are required. The role demands independent work with limited supervision, strong prioritization and multitasking abilities, intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills. The ability to process tasks from written and oral instructions and handle client and vendor issues is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Commercial Lines Account Manager will provide daily administrative support, including gathering renewal information and processing endorsements, certificates of insurance, and cancellation requests. This role involves processing and following up on new and existing accounts, providing risk management and marketing support, and ensuring timely and accurate execution of all transactions. Responsibilities include maintaining files, preparing renewal questionnaires, recommending coverage enhancements, working expiration lists for client contact and retention, and updating agency systems. The position also requires invoicing accounts, processing premiums, educating business partners on insurance products, and delivering high-quality customer service to achieve service standards and retention goals.
