Embroker is seeking a motivated Account Executive to drive growth in its Direct Sales channel. This role involves converting qualified inbound leads and advising prospective clients on tailored insurance solutions. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong interpersonal skills, a consultative sales approach, and a passion for problem-solving. Responsiveness, attention to detail, and methodical pipeline management are key. As a front-line representative, you will deliver a modern, client-focused buying experience, aligning with Embroker's mission to simplify and improve business insurance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Relevant professional certification (e.g., RPLU, CPCU, ARM) is a plus
  • 4+ years in commercial insurance client management or sales
  • Active state insurance license
  • Experience with professional liability, management liability, or cyber liability is a plus
  • Skilled at managing & prioritizing workloads to meet client needs
  • Proven ability to consistently meet sales goals
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex insurance themes to senior-level positions
  • Experience with Salesforce and Google Suite
  • Ability to work cross-culturally on a global team
  • Prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Ability to perform at a high-level in a remote work environment

Responsibilities

  • Pipeline and CRM Management:
    • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and deal progress.
    • Ensure all opportunity fields are updated for healthy pipeline hygiene and reliable forecasting.
    • Provide accurate projections toward quarterly goals and collaborate with sales leadership to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Lead Conversion:
    • Take full ownership of inbound leads and self-sourced opportunities.
    • Qualify prospects efficiently, assess business needs, and guide them through the buying journey.
    • Maintain a high conversion rate in line with team benchmarks.
  • Consultative Advisory & Broker Services:
    • Act as a trusted advisor by understanding unique business needs and recommending tailored insurance solutions.
    • Maintain a deep understanding of Embroker’s offerings and open marketing alternatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Partner closely with the Client Success team for smooth transitions from sale to onboarding.
    • Support clients with post-sale questions and maintain continuity of service.
    • Act as a liaison between the customer and internal teams to ensure client needs are addressed promptly and insights are shared.
  • Product Improvement:
    • Leverage insights from client interactions and feedback to help shape Embroker’s proprietary products.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
