Candidates should possess 3+ years of experience in Infrastructure Technology Sales, a demonstrated history of consistent goal achievement in a highly competitive environment (top 10% performer), and be energetic, upbeat, entrepreneurial, and tenacious. They should also be adaptable with demonstrable experience in high-velocity technology companies, familiar with Salesforce, and have familiarity with open source technology, along with excellent communication skills in all channels and the ability to form strong working relationships both in person and virtually. Experience using Command of the Message and MEDD(P)ICC is ideal.
The Commercial Account Executive will be responsible for prospecting and closing new business across the North East Region of the US, identifying, nurturing, and closing opportunities with both new and existing customers, managing forecasts and tracking customer data. They will articulate the value of Grafana Cloud and Grafana Enterprise, work with customers during the trial phase, hand off a strong relationship to the Customer Success team, meet and exceed individual quarterly and annual sales goals, manage all aspects of the sales process (prospecting, sales meetings, product demos, proofs of concept, proposals, and negotiations), cultivate sales through outbound prospecting and inbound leads, manage quote creation, order processing, and day-to-day customer requests, and become an expert in managing their sales pipeline in Salesforce.
