Candidates must have 2+ years of professional software support experience, preferably in enterprise security software product companies. A minimum of 2-4 years of troubleshooting or implementation experience in Enterprise Support or any IAM solutions is required. Proven aggressive troubleshooting techniques, basic hands-on database administration (Oracle, Sybase, MSSQL, DB2, MySQL), and experience on Windows, Unix (Linux) platforms, VMWare or any virtual hosting environments are necessary. Experience with creating or troubleshooting XML and Java code, and J2EE/Java EE 5 Application Servers like Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere, or WebLogic is also required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential, along with the ability to listen and empathize with clients. Experience troubleshooting Java applications in an enterprise environment, analyzing HAR files, Postman for API calls, Log4j configuration, browser compatibility testing, web technologies (XHTML, JSF, SPML/SOAP), networking knowledge, application server clusters, and familiarity with identity management provisioning systems (Sun, Oracle, IBM, Novell) are preferred. Bilingual skills in Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean are also a plus.
The Technical Support Engineer will provide technical support to SailPoint APAC customers and field personnel through various channels. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving complex technical problems within SailPoint Software/SaaS products, documenting solutions in the company knowledge base, and interfacing with Sales, Marketing, and Engineering to enhance product service, design, and quality. The role involves working closely with DevOps, Sustaining, and Engineering teams to solve Out-Of-The-Box issues, presenting technical concepts clearly, and meticulously documenting case progress. The engineer will also provide 24x7 on-call support on a rotation schedule, participate in support review meetings, and impress customers with empathy, responsiveness, technical ability, and attention to detail.
