Candidates are required to possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. They must have at least five years of experience in designing and implementing infrastructure solutions for enterprise applications, with strong experience in Kubernetes, including cluster administration, networking, and security. Proven experience with cloud computing platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure, is essential, along with familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet. A strong understanding of networking concepts and experience with container orchestration platforms and container registries are also necessary.
As a Cloud Services Architect, the incumbent will be responsible for managing and converting technical and business requirements into architecture and design specifications, evaluating and selecting cloud-native tools and platforms, documenting best practices, and offering guidance to other teams on cloud technologies. They will design and implement infrastructure solutions for Kubernetes clusters on both Azure and on-premises environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance, while developing and maintaining infrastructure-as-code. Collaboration with development teams will be crucial to translate application requirements into robust infrastructure designs, troubleshooting infrastructure issues, and staying abreast of advancements in cloud computing and security best practices. Furthermore, the role involves participating in capacity planning, performance tuning, and contributing to internal infrastructure standards and practices.
