Requirements

Candidates should possess a BS in Computer Science or a related field with over 3 years of experience in private cloud environments. Familiarity with hyper-converged infrastructure, multi-site architectures, Windows Server (SCCM, clustering, DHCP, DNS, AD), and the VMware stack is required. Experience with storage systems (NetApp, Pure Storage) and protocols (FC, iSCSI, NFS, SMB/CIFS), monitoring tools, scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Ansible), backup/recovery solutions (Rubrik), ITSM tools (Jira), ITIL processes, and Linux (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS) is also necessary. The ability to work in Agile teams, take initiative, perform hardware installations, manage cabling, and support out-of-band management is essential.

Responsibilities

The Cloud Operations Administrator will monitor and maintain private, public, and hybrid cloud environments, applying and managing hardened configurations and system baselines. This role involves implementing and maintaining performance and availability monitoring tools, troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure issues, and developing preventive measures. Responsibilities also include enhancing automation scripts for operational efficiency, providing responsive support to internal teams, performing hardware installation, diagnostics, and upgrades, managing structured cabling, maintaining documentation, and supporting out-of-band management and equipment logistics.
