Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with proven experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer or in a similar role. A strong understanding of Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Azure SQL, Azure Active Directory, and Azure DevOps is required, along with experience in infrastructure as code using tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep. Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash, knowledge of networking concepts and Azure networking services, and familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes are essential. Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment are also necessary. Azure certifications like Azure Solutions Architect or Azure Administrator are highly desirable.
The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing Azure cloud infrastructure solutions, collaborating with clients to translate business needs into technical requirements, and managing and optimizing Azure resources for high availability and scalability. They will monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure for optimal performance, implement security best practices, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Additionally, the role involves automating deployment processes using Azure DevOps and other CI/CD tools, providing technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams, and staying updated with the latest Azure technologies and trends to continuously improve solutions.
