Requirements

Provides technical clinical expertise and support of the sales process to colleagues, current customers, and/or potential customers
Works under general direction with clinical and sales teammates
Performs work involving a high degree of independence and exercises independent judgment in planning, organizing, and performing work
Proficient in complex programming and case support
Ability to integrate into accounts, build trust and relationships, and establish strong rapport with customers
Knowledge of Abbott Chronic Pain Therapies and implantable devices compatible with mobile technology for chronic pain and movement disorders
In-depth knowledge of assigned accounts, customers, and competitor activity
Ability to work in Bismarck, ND or Fargo, ND geography

Responsibilities

Provides technical, clinical, and programming assistance, primarily in support of 1-2 Territory Manager(s)
Assists Territory Managers in after-hours call support and activities
Integrates into all accounts, builds trust and relationships, and establishes strong rapport with customers
Works seamlessly with Territory Manager(s) to allow increased selling time
Fosters high trust relationships with customers, including regional team members
Begins to conduct PCP work and educational in-services, as directed
Contacts, visits, and engages clients and potential clients in the Company’s products and addresses any client questions and concerns, as directed by sales manager
Provides medical professionals with sales support, information, training on Company products, staff education, in-services, and technical troubleshooting
Develops and maintains in-depth knowledge of assigned accounts and customers, including competitor activity
Conducts evaluations and develops sales strategies for capital equipment opportunities within accounts
Collects and studies information about new and existing products and monitors competitor sales, prices, and products
Provides feedback to providers both within operating room setting and outside operating room setting on directions for use specific to implantable devices
May attend trade shows and conferences to meet sales representatives and clients and discuss new products and technologies
Seeks to continually improve territory efficiency
