Degree in Biomedical Engineering or bachelor's in health-related fields or equivalent (title required)
Advanced knowledge in conventional electrophysiology and mapping, with at least 2-3 years of experience
Advanced spoken and written English
Availability for international travel

Responsibilities

Act as a clinical interface, demonstrating complete mastery of all products and knowledge of polygraph, radiofrequency generator, irrigation pump, and mapping equipment to provide technical and clinical support in complex EP procedures (atypical flutter, sustained VT, epicardial, zero fluoro, etc.), and provide timely solutions for scheduled cases
Interpret and resolve clinical problems for complex mapping cases in EP and related products
Perform EP procedures with a high degree of independence, making necessary adjustments and contributions for the best outcomes
Continuously develop engineering skills and techniques in procedures
Develop and maintain business relationships with a positive attitude of cooperation and collaboration with clients, assigned institutions, distributors, physicians, and their staff
Report any field events of which you are aware
Attend product trainings and comply with company-issued certifications
Perform administrative functions such as registering activities in the GLOBAL EP MANAGEMENT APPLICATION (GEM APP) platform, ensuring availability of materials and equipment for EP procedures, and receiving/returning materials according to Abbott's current policies
Visit clients to assist in studies for the Electrophysiology (EP) division, providing support in procedures using polygraph, radiofrequency generator, irrigation pump, and company mapping equipment in complex arrhythmias; follow up on field inquiries from healthcare professionals, patients, and sales staff involving EP products
