For our Global Surgical Solutions (GSS) team, we are seeking a Clinical Application Specialist (m/f/d) based in Germany.

Territory Focus: Northern North Rhine-Westphalia, Lower Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Northern Saxony-Anhalt, Brandenburg.

Responsibilities

  • Support the creation and implementation of a market development strategy and action plan for supported sales regions.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of clinical study projects, adhering to budget, scope, and timeline requirements.
  • Apply best practices in the development, initiation, planning, execution, control, and closure of projects/clinical studies.
  • Coordinate service meetings and workshops with medical users and their partners.
  • Prepare, plan, and conduct customer visits (existing customers) in close collaboration with the sales team to build excellent customer relationships, identify customer needs, and uncover upselling potential.
  • Prepare, organize, and support clinical pre-sales product studies/demos according to the individual account/project sales plan and defined demo study objectives, including documenting customer feedback in close collaboration with the responsible field sales representative.
  • Independently and systematically integrate product improvement suggestions and new product innovations, forwarding them to local marketing.
  • Contribute to the organization, execution, and participation in trade fairs, congresses, product workshops, and events.
  • Process customer information in the CRM system.
  • Further develop clinical consulting expertise in a defined clinical area, e.g., Hybrid & Ultimate ORs, robot-assisted surgery, OR lighting.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience as a nurse, OR nurse, emergency assistant, physiotherapist, or comparable education, and/or extensive experience as a biomedical engineer.
  • Strong social skills: Ability and willingness to collaborate with diverse personalities.
  • Basic medical and anatomical knowledge and willingness to deepen this knowledge.
  • Confident demeanor and consulting competence.
