Responsibilities

Recording and auditing patient records with invoices to ensure accuracy
Verifying charges on open invoices of hospitalized patients and making necessary corrections
Maintaining up-to-date in-patient billing. Updating daily and reviewing bills for accuracy
Preparing invoices for discharge
Providing clients with billing updates
Educating other hospital staff regarding charge entry & payment protocols
Completing, finalizing, and discounting employee pet invoices. Following up for payment
Contacting clients with outstanding balances and assisting with any financial concerns
Ensuring appropriate estimates/deposits have been received and clients understand the payment process
