Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in Accounts Receivables, Billing or Collections
  • Demonstrated Excel skills for data submission/filter, sort etc
  • Passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
  • Ability to work during core business hours of 8:00am to 4:30 pm CST, Monday through Friday
  • Associate's in accounting/finance (Preferred)
  • Experience with Medicaid Programs (Preferred)
  • Minimum internet download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps

Responsibilities

  • Determine financial obligation towards room and board costs for iCare and Inclusa members
  • Enter and generate invoices for member financial obligations towards room and board, cost share or patient liability
  • Apply member payments and reconcile accounts each month
  • Document any problems found during reconciliation and provide follow up, including collection activities for past due balances
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all interested parties are continually updated about the status of their account
  • Correct and/or update invoices amounts, based on reported changes or cost share reports
  • Document collection efforts and reported changes that impact member billing
  • Prepare documents to inform management, internal parties and external stakeholders of the status of account issues
  • Prioritize requests and interpret and adapt procedures, processes and techniques
  • Perform advanced administrative/operational/customer support duties that require independent initiative and judgment
