Requirements

  • Understanding of the APAC Distribution landscape, including institutional investors in the pension and insurance channel, discretionary fund management, and private banking
  • Experience of working in business distribution
  • Good understanding of public markets and investment products (understanding of private markets an advantage)
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to analyse client, market, and regulatory trends
  • Currently working towards IMC, CAIA, CFA, or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Support Client Relationship and Sales Directors in servicing existing clients, developing new business, and engaging directly with clients in line with the APAC strategy
  • Ensure exceptional client servicing and proactively follow up after meetings
  • Drive opportunities through the pipeline to support asset raising
  • Broaden relationships by connecting with stakeholders beyond the primary contact
  • Track ongoing activities to maintain momentum
  • Assist in creating and distributing marketing campaigns in collaboration with Investment Directors, Sales Directors, and Marketing colleagues
  • Ensure client requirements are clearly communicated to internal teams for tailored presentation materials and sales collateral
  • Act as a liaison between sales and other business areas to coordinate responses to prospective client requests
