Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Business or a related field of study
  • Candidates in the early stages of their career or with some experience in the insurance industry or related responsibilities
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrates ability to establish effective working relationships with mid-level managers and business partners
  • Able to plan and prioritize own work
  • Analytical skills and detail oriented
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office suite products, especially Word and Excel
  • Comply with established Service Level Agreements for issuing tasks and transactions
  • Observe strict adherence to the department’s workflows, procedures, and guidelines

Responsibilities

  • Create and/or update clients and create service requests in the system to register all transactions to be processed
  • Generate balance and experience reports for policy renewal process
  • Book in the applicable system all documents received from external (Agencies) and internal (Line of Business) clients as per the Underwriter’s instructions and transmittals
  • Issue and deliver policies/endorsements processed by CPS and Underwriting according to established procedure
  • Process policy maintenance tasks i.e. certificates, cancellation and non-renewal notices, and annulments
  • Responsible for the proper filing and completeness of the policy and transaction documentation
  • May make recommendations and participate in the implementation of efficiency and process improvement projects
  • Responsible for maintaining constant and timely communication with external and internal clients
