Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years' experience working in or consulting to Public Service, with a strong understanding of the sector’s business strategy, technologies, processes, and policies
  • Proven track record in business development, with experience building and maintaining relationships with senior executives at client organisations
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage teams and build strong client and team relationships
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop and tailor solutions to client needs
  • Comprehensive industry and consulting experience, including strategy, solutioning, and/or implementation delivery
  • Solid commercial background, including proposal writing, pricing, and contracting

Responsibilities

  • Drive client engagement and foster strategic relationships, ensuring delivery of innovative solutions that address clients' unique needs
  • Lead complex, cross-functional engagements to drive client expansion and deliver solutions aligned with clients' business objectives
  • Take end-to-end accountability in defining and selling innovative solutions tailored to the challenges and opportunities within the Public Service Industry
  • Build and lead diverse teams to deliver innovative solutions in alignment with client goals and expectations
  • Address delivery challenges to meet contractual commitments, service level agreements, and maintain high client satisfaction standards
  • Utilise advanced skills in strategic planning and market analysis to identify growth opportunities and drive business outcomes
  • Originate opportunities in compliance with probity and procurement pathways; drive innovative constructs and solutioning to grow business
  • Manage sales, revenue, and profitability, managing account financials and key commercial processes
  • Foster ecosystem collaboration with technology vendors, service providers (including small and medium enterprises), and industry partners to encourage innovation and deliver public value
  • Take ownership and drive excellence across account strategy, sales proposals, and contracted delivery outcomes
  • Represent the Public Service Practice at industry events and forums, contributing to the development of thought leadership, brand, and reputation
