Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • Working knowledge of implementing OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect protocols
  • Experience in building industry standard APIs using NestJS or any other typescript based framework
  • Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, etc
  • Working knowledge of common DevOps tasks (Environment provisioning, CI/CD Pipelines, and application monitoring)
  • Excellent work ethic. Ability to work and travel independently. Effective strategic thinking skills
  • Expert level communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills. Expert level troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to influence, lead, and work as part of a cross-functional, distributed team
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Team player with leadership experience, exceptional users and API security skills, and a proven track record of successful delivery

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement API policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Develop enterprise API solutions using an industry leading API platform (Kong)
  • Integrate the enterprise CIAM solution for all internal and external APIs
  • Collaborate with CIAM team to extend its capability to serve our clients
  • Execute on product’s vision for a modern, frictionless, scalable, API first and persona-driven customer identity and access management system
  • Partner with fellow engineers to create a reusable, predictable, and discoverable design and development framework allowing rapid, consistent, and maintainable customer authentication and authorization solutions
