Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience leading procurement functions in a large, matrixed organization
  • Experience implementing center-led or centralized procurement models

Responsibilities

  • Lead the transition to a center-led procurement model to align with enterprise goals
  • Streamline and improve procurement lifecycle processes and clarify roles
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to source and implement new procurement platform with appropriate integration to existing technologies
  • Drive adoption of centralized policies, tools, and category strategies
  • Manage and coach staff during the change process
  • Work with other second lines to design and implement cohesive policies and processes that comply with regulatory and ethical sourcing standards. Align and promote common terminology
  • Build and mentor a high performing team to drive and sustain value through strategic vendor relationships
  • Champion the transition to leverage actionable data to improve visibility and decision making related to managing external spend
  • Work with stakeholders and leadership to implement an appropriate governance framework and policies that align with the company's culture and standards
  • Provide input on strategies to Category Managers and stakeholders. Serve as Chief Negotiator in complex and/or strategic dealmaking and/or dispute settlement
