Candidates must possess current 40-hour HAZWOPER Training or the ability to pass the course upon hire, and a valid driver’s license may be required for some positions. Demonstrated accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail are essential, along with the ability to prioritize, stay focused, and handle multiple, diverse responsibilities. Knowledge of heating/cooling, heat transfer/evaporation processes and skilled use of hand and shop tools, and instruments are preferred qualifications.
The Chemical Process Operator will control equipment and systems for pre-treating hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals, performing sample testing and lab work, and executing chemical treatment to meet discharge limitations. They will load and unload materials, operate chemical process equipment, filter presses, and filtration systems, conduct daily inspections of the facility and storage tanks, process inbound and outbound paperwork, manage solids and chemical treated fluids, perform general housekeeping, and maintain equipment and site. Additionally, they will perform other related duties as assigned.
