Food Safety Certification (preferred)
Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and may bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently

Provide front line customer service within the Specialty Cheese Department
Prepare Specialty Cheese items for sale and as requested by customers
Weigh, wrap and label Specialty Cheese selections for customers while displaying courteous customer service
Assist customers with all inquiries and requests
Fill customer special orders by obtaining and preparing items from other departments as requested
Write orders, prepare Specialty Cheese items and describe availability of products as needed
Wrap, weigh, label and display food items
Stock display case and rotate merchandise as requested
Operate machinery by following proper department production and safety standards, as needed
Clean, sanitize and reset work area, including shelves, bins, tables, coolers, equipment and utensils in compliance with health code standards
Inspect and reassemble equipment for use and perform routine maintenance as assigned
Follow safe food handling and local health department standards
Sustain a high level of product knowledge and product preparation
Demonstrate excellent customer service standards
Work toward continuous quality improvement
Ensure accurate pricing by placing the corresponding price and ingredient labels on each package
Uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures
