A proven track record of building and scaling a channel ecosystem, strong abilities in recruiting, onboarding, and activating channel partners, and experience working with resellers, VARs, MSPs, and strategic alliances are essential. Proficiency in CRM tools like Salesforce and collaboration platforms such as Google Workspace is required, along with strong commercial acumen for negotiation and a self-starter attitude suitable for a high-growth environment.
The Channel Business Development Manager will drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships by recruiting, onboarding, managing, and expanding relationships with various channel partners. This includes developing and executing territory/channel plans, aligning partner capabilities with 8x8's value proposition, and fostering a strong pipeline of partner opportunities. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with marketing, sales, sales engineering, partner success, and product teams to deliver maximum value. Responsibilities also include supporting partners through onboarding and enablement, evangelizing 8x8's solutions, representing the company at events, driving partner-led pipeline and revenue, monitoring KPIs, providing accurate forecasts, and reporting on partner performance using CRM and BI tools.
