The Channel Account Specialist should possess previous field sales and channel enablement experience, an understanding of communications services such as UCaaS/CCaaS and how to sell them in the Australian market, and an aptitude to learn technology, particularly cloud-based Unified Communications / Contact Centre Team and emerging AI technologies. Previous experience engaging with Carrier service providers is desired.
This role involves learning RingCentral’s sales methodologies and service capabilities, becoming an expert on the competition and market data, understanding Service providers’ business and governance, developing seller relationships, creating programs to drive awareness and lead generation, training Service Providers, co-selling UCaaS deals, assisting with quotes and proposals, coordinating enablement programs, and representing RingCentral at sales events while traveling up to 75% of the time across Australia.
