Candidates must be a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) with current licensure, possessing a strong understanding of veterinary medical procedures and patient care. Previous experience in a veterinary setting is preferred, along with demonstrated skills in patient handling, surgical/dental nursing, anesthesia management, and diagnostic management.
The Certified Veterinary Technician will provide comprehensive patient care, including patient handling and husbandry, client education, surgical/dental nursing and anesthesia management, detailed record keeping, diagnostic management, and medication administration. They will also respond to emergency situations, assist with surgery and dental procedures, and support the veterinary team in providing top-quality patient care, while utilizing innovative technologies and attending monthly educational events.
