Requirements

Candidates must be 21 years of age or older, possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), have a clean driving record, and be able to read, write, and communicate in English. They must also be able to lift, push, or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds repeatedly, and demonstrate flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed. Preferred qualifications include one year of customer delivery experience, six months of hand cart/hand truck experience, and six months of food and beverage experience, along with a consistent two-year work history.

Responsibilities

The CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver will safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer and manually unload/deliver various products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule, building relationships with customers and becoming familiar with their operations to meet their needs. They will also monitor and interpret changes in employment legislation across North America and develop HR policies to ensure compliance, conduct audits, deliver training, and advise management on HR-related risk mitigation strategies.
