This role owns the Go-To-Market strategy, including creation, buy-in, and execution, as well as setting and achieving the marketing and sales goals for the Truck market at CDK. They establish the positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation, and enablement of the Sales, Marketing and Customer Services teams to ensure they are aligned and work efficiently to generate and close opportunities and retain customers. Includes delivery of all messaging, internal and external. The responsibilities of this role include all tasks associated with building and executing an effective go-to-market strategy, including market characterization, development of the go-to-market plan, driving and delivering demand generation programs, influencing commercialization and packaging strategies, enabling sales channels with tools and resources, and defining market requirements and business cases for truck investment. The Sr. Product Marketer will be the company’s leading expert in the truck market and value proposition.

Responsibilities

  • Owns the Go-To-Market strategy, including development and delivery of marketing plans and activities for the truck market to establish, enhance, and distinguish product placement.
  • Leads and implements channel enablement development, advocacy and execution of an operational go-to-market strategy integrating all elements of the marketing and distribution mix.
  • Owns the overall creative business judgment in optimizing the lifecycle profitability of the offering.
  • Voice of the Customer, developing new relationships with end-users to ensure best-in-class workflows and value proposition to the market.
  • Collaborates with Product Development leadership and Sales leadership to develop new products or enhances existing product(s) or product line(s).
  • Owns the Sales messaging strategy to ensure all customer facing partners deliver a common, succinct product message to help achieve sales and retention plans.
  • Owns the messaging for all external facing channels with messaging and tools including Field/Inside Sales, Enterprise Sales and Services teams.
  • Market Expert/Evangelist; lead presenter of the truck offering to external audiences, including major truck manufacturers, large dealer groups and dealers.
