We are looking for a Cataract Equipment Manager to join our Surgical Sales Team and contribute to our innovative and impactful work. This role involves collaborating with a divisional team to strategically drive the sales of Alcon’s capital equipment portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Selling a full portfolio of Anterior Cataract Surgery products, including: Capital Equipment, Disposables, Accessories, and Stand Alone products.
  • Interacting with various customer personnel, including: Hospital/ASC/Teaching Institutions/Managed Care/Buying Groups – O.R. staff, Purchasing, Administration, Biomed, Infection Control, Central Sterile, and other decision-makers.
  • Leading the targeting and selling efforts for Centurion, Revalia, and NGenuity within their assigned Division, collaborating with the divisional team to utilize assets for sales success.
  • Responsible for:
    • Lead generation
    • Sales proposal development
    • Management of product demo evaluations
    • Post-sale equipment in-services
  • Protecting, securing, and growing the consumable core business through equipment conversion and product/service/technology innovation.
  • Delivering value through customer’s technical skill set, ensuring they fully utilize the capabilities of the Centurion and Revalia platforms.
  • Working with division team members to ensure accounts utilizing Alcon’s capital technology platforms are thriving and growing.
  • Providing technically, financially, and strategically sound equipment sales and integration, working with commercial, technical, clinical, training, and finance personnel to ensure long-term success.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6 yrs; M.S.)
  • Communication Skills: Ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
  • Experience: 2 Years of Relevant Experience
