Responsibilities
Process member purchases, including verifying, renewing, upgrading, and offering membership products, scanning merchandise, and accepting various forms of payment
Offer appropriate membership products such as renewal, EASY renewal option, BJ’s Loyalty programs, and Rewards redemption
Provide high level of customer service and check members out in a timely and efficient manner
Scan all club merchandise through point-of-sale system to ensure accurate inventory counts and purchase totals
Fill shopping carts when necessary and assist members
Maintain overall cleanliness of the front-line department
Carry out job functions as assigned and support club policies, procedures, and compliance
Deliver service excellence, resolve and deescalate member concerns, and ensure a safe and positive environment
Work to deliver GOLD club standards daily, including Grand Opening Look (GOL), stocking items, executing promotional plans, maintaining signage, and keeping areas clean and organized
Access and read production and/or financial performance reporting for the department
