Ability to provide a high level of customer service to Members
Ability to check Members out in a timely and efficient manner
Ability to scan all club merchandise through a point-of-sale system to ensure accurate inventory counts and accurate purchase totals
Ability to maintain the overall cleanliness of the front-line department
Commitment to carrying out job functions with honesty, integrity, speed, agility, and a friendly, positive attitude
Ability to work as a team, embrace inclusion and diversity, and support club policies, procedures, and compliance
Understanding of how to access and read production and/or financial performance reporting for the department
Responsibilities
Process Member purchases in a courteous and friendly manner, including verifying, renewing, upgrading, and offering several types of membership products
Scan merchandise and accept various forms of payments
Provide excellent member service in an efficient and productive manner
Offer all appropriate membership products such as membership renewal, EASY renewal option, BJ’s Loyalty programs, and Rewards redemption
Check Members out in a timely and efficient manner
Fill shopping carts when necessary and assist Members
Maintain the overall cleanliness of the front-line department
Deliver service excellence through all points of contact, resolve and deescalate member concerns, and ensure a safe and positive environment
Commit to GOLD Member Standards: Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate (GAA)
Deliver GOLD club standards daily, including Grand opening look, all items stocked, promotional plans executed, visible accurate signage, and clean and organized areas
