Ability to process member purchases courteously and friendly, including verifying, renewing, upgrading, and offering membership products
Ability to scan merchandise and accept various forms of payments
Ability to provide excellent member service efficiently and productively
Ability to maintain cleanliness of the front-line department and assist in general club housekeeping

Daily commitment to GOLD Member Standards: Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate (GAA)
Knowledge of club standards, including Grand opening look, stocking, promotional execution, signage, cleanliness, and organization
Ability to stay up to date on merchandise promotions, advertisements, product information, and coupons

Processes Member purchases, including verifying, renewing, upgrading, and offering membership products
Scans all club merchandise through a point-of-sale system for accurate inventory and purchase totals
Fills shopping carts when necessary and assists at self-checkout stations
Collects payments via cash, check, or other charge payments from members
Issues receipts or change due to Members
Offers all appropriate membership products such as renewal, EASY renewal option, BJ’s Loyalty programs, and Rewards redemption
Provides high level of customer service and checks Members out in a timely and efficient manner
Discounts purchases by scanning and redeeming coupons
Maintains cleanliness of the frontline area and assists in general club housekeeping
Returns re-sellables (incomplete due to description cutoff)
Supports application of club policies, procedures, and compliance
Addresses member concerns, escalates as appropriate, and ensures safe, positive environment
Delivers service excellence, resolves and deescalates member concerns
Works as a team to achieve goals and deliver GOLD club standards daily
Understands and accesses production and/or financial performance reporting for the department
