Requirements
- Clear understanding of all BJ’s Membership options, including the importance of renewals and upgrading to BJ’s Loyalty programs
- Ability to provide a high level of customer service to Members
- Ability to check Members out in a timely and efficient manner
- Proficiency in scanning all club merchandise through a point-of-sale system to ensure accurate inventory counts and purchase totals
- Capability to fill shopping carts when necessary and assist Members
- Commitment to maintaining a friendly and positive attitude
- Ability to carry out job functions and responsibilities as assigned, support club policies, procedures, and compliance
- Accountability for flawless execution, acting with honesty and integrity, leading with the member in mind, ensuring a safe and positive environment, embracing inclusion and diversity, working as a team, moving with speed and agility, and innovating and adapting
- Daily commitment to GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate - GAA)
- Understanding of how to access and read production and/or financial performance reporting for the department
Responsibilities
- Process Member purchases in a courteous and friendly manner, including verifying, renewing, upgrading, and offering several types of membership products
- Scan merchandise and accept various forms of payments
- Provide excellent member service in an efficient and productive manner
- Maintain the overall cleanliness of the front-line department
- Offer all appropriate membership products such as membership renewal, EASY renewal option, BJ’s Loyalty programs, and Rewards redemption
- Deliver service excellence through all points of contact, resolve and deescalate member concerns
- Ensure a safe and positive environment and experience for members
- Work as a team to deliver GOLD club standards daily, including Grand opening look, all items stocked, promotional plans executed, visible accurate signage, clean and organized inside and out
