Clear understanding of all BJ’s Membership options, including the importance of renewals, upgrading to BJ’s Loyalty programs
Ability to offer appropriate membership products such as membership renewal, EASY renewal option, BJ’s Loyalty programs, and Rewards redemption
Knowledge of how to access and read production and/or financial performance reporting for the department
Commitment to GOLD Member Standards: Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate (GAA)
Ability to work as a team to deliver GOLD club standards daily, including Grand opening look, all items stocked, promotional plans executed, visible accurate signage, clean and organized inside and out
Flexible availability for part-time schedule
Responsibilities
Process Member purchases in a courteous and friendly manner, including verifying, renewing, upgrading, and offering membership products
Scan merchandise and accept various forms of payments using the point-of-sale system to ensure accurate inventory counts and purchase totals
Provide excellent member service in an efficient and productive manner
Fill shopping carts when necessary and assist Members
Maintain the overall cleanliness of the front-line department
Carry out job functions and responsibilities as assigned, support club policies, procedures, and compliance
Act with honesty and integrity, lead with the member in mind, address and escalate concerns as appropriate
Ensure a safe and positive environment for members and team members
Embrace inclusion and diversity, work collaboratively with respect
Deliver service excellence, resolve and deescalate member concerns
