Candidates are required to possess a Bachelor’s degree and have experience in capital markets, specifically with a brokerage, investment bank, lender, or as a principal. Strong relationships with developers, owners, investors, and other relevant parties are also essential.
The Capital Markets Originator will be responsible for originating, structuring, negotiating, and closing real estate loans and/or equity joint ventures, developing and maintaining relationships with clients and capital sources, cultivating relationships with MMI investment sales professionals, leading presentations and pitches, collaborating with capital market team resources, and growing the firm’s presence in the Houston market.
