Responsibilities

  • Support deal activities, including securing and maintaining efficient and flexible capital, identifying and attracting prospective investors, crafting an investor story, evaluating structuring alternatives, and making recommendations
  • Partner with legal, operations, and accounting teams to ensure deals are properly onboarded, accounted for, and documented
  • Support external relations and facility management, including ongoing investor relations, investor/lender reporting, and relationships with banks, lenders, investors, and intermediaries
  • Refinancing, upsizing, product, and underwriting enhancements as needed
  • Build and monitor dashboards and reports to track new loan origination, loan repayments, performance statistics, and adherence to Tala lender contractual requirements
  • Support capital management and corporate FP&A, including developing short-term and long-term forecasts to inform product strategy and credit underwriting processes
  • Evaluate analytical models to evaluate capital structure decisions, including financing, return of capital, liquidity planning, equity valuation, and credit ratings
  • Manage existing debt portfolio, including covenant compliance and ensuring proper alignment with risk management processes
  • Drive innovation by evaluating and implementing next-generation portfolio management software systems
  • Support in building out loan operations, including managing loan portfolios and ensuring proper alignment with risk management processes
