Candidates should possess a strong understanding of commercial real estate finance and capital markets, with a proven track record of originating debt and equity transactions. They should have experience working with various capital sources, including commercial banks, CMBS lenders, and private equity firms. Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to negotiate complex deals are essential, along with the ability to operate both on-site and remotely.
The Capital Markets Originator will be responsible for originating, structuring, negotiating, and closing real estate loans and/or equity joint ventures, developing and maintaining relationships with clients and capital sources, cultivating relationships with MMI investment sales professionals, leading presentations and pitches, and growing the firm’s presence in the Austin and San Antonio markets.
