Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a 4-year degree; or 6 years with an advanced degree; or equivalent experience
  • Ability to manage professional employees, supervisors, or large, complex technical/business support/production operations teams
  • Experience adapting departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges
  • Knowledge of policies, procedures, and business plans to guide decisions
  • Skills in providing technical guidance to employees, colleagues, and/or customers
  • Ability to set employee performance objectives, conduct performance reviews, and recommend pay actions
  • Proficiency in Excel for ad hoc reporting

Responsibilities

  • Analyze clean business metrics and operating standards to ensure improved operating income, maximize inventory turns, improve business performance, ensure branch adherence to Arrow policy and procedures, and minimize profit leaks
  • Manage employees by coaching and training business operations analysts
  • Manage clean business by coordinating resources (involving corporate operations, CFS, SSG, PDC, and branch personnel) to maximize productivity and resolve field issues
  • Audit branches, identify areas needing improvement, and share best practices
  • Perform miscellaneous ad hoc reporting using Excel and Focus
  • Accountable for the performance and results of a team within own discipline or function
  • Define team operating standards and ensure essential procedures are followed
