The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and meticulous attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly presentation design, advanced analytical skills, and the ability to manage complex projects autonomously are essential. Experience in managing relationships and influencing stakeholders across all organizational levels, high integrity, and political sensitivity are also required. Preferred qualifications include a strong team and results orientation, a "Low Ego, High Impact" track record, significant knowledge of GM's matrixed structure, and demonstrated experience in subscription sales and digital commerce across multiple geographies and cultures.
The Business Planner will coordinate business activities for OnStar International Markets & Global Commerce, working effectively with key stakeholders within GM and facilitating strategic and operational involvement of various global teams. This role involves creating presentations and documents on behalf of the Director of OnStar International Markets & Global Commerce, and partnering on strategic business and operational initiatives to drive profitable growth for OnStar and the eCommerce business. Key responsibilities include managing work as directed by the Director, coordinating with regional leaders, and collaborating with other Business Planners for efficient information flow. The planner will also plan and coordinate content for All People Meetings/Town Halls and external engagements, deliver results by supporting the planning, development, and execution of key organizational strategies, prioritize work effectively, improve processes, and undertake special projects requiring confidentiality and discretion.
