Experience with analyzing user journeys and engagement metrics, coupled with strong visual design skills focused on clarity, actionability, and accessibility, is necessary. The role also requires 11+ years of experience with SaaS platforms, cloud data/reporting environments, and agile tools like Jira or Aha!, in addition to a bachelor's degree in a related field.
The Business Intelligence Manager will lead the design, development, and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and reports to meet evolving business needs for the Ascend Platform. Responsibilities include creating and managing dataflows, models, and pipelines to ensure data integrity and performance, and integrating data from diverse sources like toolsets, APIs, and databases to create actionable report solutions. The manager will conduct analyses of published data to identify discrepancies, derive insights, and validate findings, while also standardizing and improving report visuals, filters, themes, and templates for consistency. Key duties involve building and monitoring reports related to platform user journeys, portal usage metrics, and onboarding success rates, and establishing scalable frameworks for measuring digital platform adoption and engagement. Collaboration with business stakeholders to translate insights into actions and align analytics with strategic goals is crucial. The role also entails engaging with business leaders and technical teams to gather requirements, present dashboards, and refine KPIs, as well as delivering clear documentation, user training materials, and usage guides to support report consumers. Managing expectations, communicating data availability, and promoting the effective use of dashboards in decision-making are also core responsibilities.
